A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE ENCYCLICALS IN ENGLISH (scroll down to see the scanned originals)
1916.
To the modest Mrs. Diana Apcarian in Yokohama, Japan
We learned of your efforts from a relative of yours, with contented hearts, about the love and attention you have shown toward your unfortunate compatriots, and of how you facilitate their stay in that distant land, enthusiastically doing your humanitarian work.
As a religious leader of all Armenians I am pleased to learn about your modest and helpful activities. I appreciate you and wish God to strengthen you in your activities, with love and consolation for our sisters and brothers of your multi-tortured nation.
Gevorg Catholicos of Armenians

Holy See of Ejmiatsin, Armenia
1920.
In the national press I read with joy about your official appointment as diplomatic representative of the Republic of Armenia in Japan. We glorify our Lord that the Republic of Armenia has been restored as our homeland, and that other diplomatic representatives in various European and Asian countries are appointed for supporting Armenia’s interests in those countries. Additionally, with this writing I congratulate you, as one of those diplomats and ask form God to give you strength and abilities for admirably fulfilling your sublime position in Japan to support the interests of the Republic of Armenia.

All-Saviour Cathedral, Nor Jugha, Iran
1926.
We are well aware, from the writings of Vardapet Ruben, that in the past and currently, you in Far East have never forgotten our homeland and the Holy See of Ejmiatsin, and always theoretically and practically show your love by participating in our national and public activities.
We learned also with contentment that you, having a kind character, advised and worked with the representative of the Holy See of Ejmiatsin, Vardapet Ruben, whom we have sent to the Far East with our pastoral letter.
Taking into account your helpful activity and your active faith and love toward the Holy See of Ejmiatsin, I bless you and your family by this pastoral letter, your beloved children and grandchildren, praying to the God and asking to give you all a successful and happy life.
